SHOPPING SPREE with CokeAddict. A FatNation Member decides to visit us all the way from Toronto!!! An Avid reader of my eatsite, she wanted to try all the TASTIEST restaurants! So we immediately hit up Satay.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Rhymes, CokeAddict, Azriha, and YueJau.
We were starving and ready to house food. Ordered Roti, Malaysian Cheung Fun (yup it’s actually called that on the menu), STINGRAY!, some kind of seafood udon, and of course the girl’s favorite; sizzling tofu.
yup, totally starving, totally dogged…but one of us wasn’t satisified, so we went for dessert….There’s a second ‘s’ in dessert cause you want seconds. Sweet and Tart.
decor is still nice and clean as usual.
i have such great photog skillz yo.
totally did not know that Sweet and Tart made alcoholic desserts….very interesting…Lychee, vanilla ice cream, mint leaf, drowned in soju?
and some chinese dessert i have no name of which i’m sure someone will correct me on.
Then off to burn off some of those calories!!! PING PONG!!!!! at Cue Bar.
the girls seem to have a good back and forth.
Ping….pong…..ping………pong……..i played too….but spent most of my time doing this…..
picking up the ball….which got tiresome…
of course sometimes it was worth it…getting to HULK SMASH the ball.
then everyone went home cause we’re all so old….then rise and shine for GUESS WHAT?!?!?!
if you guessed siu loung bao you get a gold star in your FatNation membership.
mmmmm nooodle house….*droooooolz…..
CokeAddict Azriha and YueJau we was shtarving for some breakfast, we ordered everything we liked….
and more…..uhg, siu loung bao…so goooooooooooooooooooood. *tearThen off to pick up some people and off to Tanger Outlet out in Riverhead for a day of shopping and discounts!!!
The Crazy Azn and i decided to scout ahead to find a place that we could take the girls to fly a kite…
Never listen to people when they tell you to drive on the sand…though i know better, and probably could do a better job next time since i’m more ‘knowledgeable” now…i think i’ll pass untill i get an SUV or OFFROAD vehicle. (and yes it does have All-Time AWD which is the same as 4WD, all four tires were spinning into the sand ms. smarty pants.)but let’s forget about that horrid incident…and drown our sorrows in food….
alas, Buoy 1, the best lobster i’ve ever had south of Maine.
cute insides….
Glo and CokeAddict CokeAddict and Crazy Azn YueJau and Azriha I was fearful the food wasn’t gonna be that good since they were about to close early….
my fears were semi realized when my shrimp cocktail was luke warm…and luke warm shrimp is…bleah….
everyone else’s food was pretty disco though….cept for maybe the shrimp that came with the buoy 1 clambake….
but all together i think it was a successful meal….
ok these pics are making me want shrimp cocktail again…
it was pouring while we were eating.
you’ll have to ask Glo and YueJau what these dishes were….they have really good fish there….
and alas the Buoy 1 clambake….it’s like 12 steamers, 12 mussels, 12 shrimp, a lobster, veggies and a potatoe…all for around 25$ niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
After that, had to pull pebbles out of my rotar/dust guard that were making a tumultuous screeching noise….hope i didn’t ruin the nite.It was great meeting yaz CokeAddict, we’ll definitely be seeing you again, whether in our country or yours.
WOOOOT!!!

Delicious!
I’m in HK right now so I’m actually going through your xanga and trying to find as many things to match the pictures as possible, at least as far as Chinese dishes go.
